As we kickoff our high school winter sports practices today, here are some updates to the activity calendar...
The South Loup Wrestling Invite on 12/16 was cancelled. We have replaced that with the Sutherland Invite on 12/17.
Our basketball Jamboree game is on 11/22. This was misprinted on our printed activity calendars.

The FACS class joined the kindergarten class to launch Halloween/fall decorations with catapults today!




On Thursday, November 10th, the sophomores will be taking the PreACT test and the juniors will be taking the ASVAB test. If students are absent, they will need to make these tests up at a later date. Stay well!

General Science students met with the elementary students to talk about recycling. Students can bring their recycling to school on Tuesday, November 15th to celebrate America Recycles Day! Start saving your plastic and aluminum!


Sophomore students developed research posters and/or visual art exhibits that highlighted topics and ideas related to the class novel, “To Kill a Mockingbird.” Novel studies are a great way to practice a variety of different reading, writing, and comprehension skills through various projects and activities!



Thirty two K-5th grade students participated in the Paxton Tiger Run Club this fall! Students learned about running form, pacing, healthy habits, and setting goals. As a group we ran a total of 1,552 laps or 388 miles!!!


The Paxton preK-5 students have been working hard to prepare some amazing music for you all! The fall - yes FALL concert is Tues 11/15 at 6:30pm. It will be based on the book "The Scarecrow" by Beth Ferry!

Thank you, Paxton School Foundation for funding the 3-D Printer.
The STEM 7 class learn how to use the designing program for 3-d printing. Students making a keychain or a bookmark learn the importance of how measurements translate from the program to a real object. They are now working on designing cookie cutters and will be using them for a tasty treat next week.
