IT'S CRITICAL! The Red Cross has an ongoing critical need for lifesaving blood this summer as blood product distributions remain higher than anticipated. No matter your blood type, you're needed to help patients. Paxton High School has many openings at their blood drive on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the school. Band camp is for all 7-12 band students. They will be fitted for uniforms, order shirts for Labor Day, and learn music and marching. There will also be games, prizes, and of course, PIZZA!

Paxton School Faculty attended @ESU_16 PLC EDVENTUROUS Day @ Sutherland Aug 9th to kick off the 21-22 school year with awesome professional development! Keynote Speaker Thomas Murray was inspirational! Teachers, Paras, Admin met with PLC networks to plan for 21-22! Great Day!

This plan will be revisited and may be amended using your suggestions for creating a safe and healthy learning environment for all students and staff.

Many cancer patients, especially those undergoing chemotherapy, will require blood products during treatment. But there aren't enough people donating blood regularly to meet the need.
