Hand out stickers/ ribbons - Sign a pledge and get a parent to sign it and enter to win a prize at the end of Red Ribbon Week Tuesday, Oct. 23rd - β€œSock It to Drugs”- Wear crazy socks – Mr. Chuck Elley with NSP as a trooper for more than 28 years, will speak to the high school and middle school Wednesday, Oct. 24th - β€œHugs not Drugs!” - Bring your favorite stuffed animal and receive a β€œHUG” from Red Ribbon Week Ambassadors. Thursday, Oct. 25th - β€œOur School is Drug Free!” - Wear Paxton Tiger gear! Guess how many blue and gold M&Ms are in the jar to win ALL the M&Ms. Friday, Oct. 26th - β€œDream Big- Be drug free!”- Wear your favorite pjs! Bring a towel and Go to the gym during access for a special activity. Monday, October 29th- β€œPut a Cap on drugs!” -Donate a dollar to wear your favorite hat and it will be donated to a drug rehabilitation center. Tuesday, Oct. 30th - β€œBe a Jean-ius, Be Drug Free!” - Students and staff wear jeans. Guess the weight of a toy brain in milligrams and win a brain. Wednesday, Oct. 31st -β€œTeam Up To Say No To Drugs!” – Find other people to dress the same way you do that day. Make a COMMIT–MINT TO BE DRUG FREE – get a mint. National Red Ribbon Campaign - Since its beginning in 1985, the Red Ribbon has touched the lives of millions of people around the world. In response to the murder of DEA Agent Enrique Camarena, angered parents and youth in communities across the country began wearing Red Ribbons as a symbol of their commitment to raise awareness of the killing and destruction caused by drugs in America. In 1988, NFP sponsored the first National Red Ribbon Celebration. Today, the Red Ribbon serves as a catalyst to mobilize communities to educate youth and encourage participation in drug prevention activities.

National Honor Society Greenery Sales! It's that time of year! NHS members are selling beautiful greenery again this year. This fundraiser is used to help fund many service projects including the celebration to pledge to be drug-free - Red Ribbon Week and many important projects that our members work hard to make happen.
