6th grade students worked on designing a lunar landing device with the following supplies: straws, index cards, rubber bands, a plastic cup, tape, and mini marshmallows. The goal was to keep the two large marshmallows (the astronauts) from falling out as they land from various heights. They began testing their designs on Friday. Excited to see these students grow throughout the school year!
