We are excited to announce that Darin Boysen, Executive Director of the Nebr Coaches Association, will be in Paxton on Monday Dec. 2nd at 7:00 PM to give his presentation titled "The Role of Parents in Education-Based Athletics". Parents of all our students are invited to attend.

NHS member, Tanner Hebblethwaite, helped with the Caring Rose project which helps restock our local food pantry with needed items from the generosity of other community members. Thank you for caring!

The Paxton FFA chapter had a great showing at Wallace for the District 9 leadership development event contest. There were a lot of purple and blue ribbons won and three state qualifications. Congratulations Jordan, Hadleigh, and Cale on qualifying for state convention in April.


After sorting the recycling we collected for America Recycles Day, the environmental science class visited WRG in Ogallala to see where that will recycling will go next. Thank you, Aaron Withington, for showing us around!

The Rotary Club presented our third graders with their very own dictionaries today. They will use them in the classroom during the year school year before taking them home for personal use throughout their educational journey!

ATTENTION - seniors and their parents!!! The FAFSA (Free Application Federal Student Aid) for the Class of 2025 is now required by the state to complete to be able to graduate from high school. The student and the parent have portions to complete as part of this process. Take the night off from making a meal and join us to learn and start this process. There are two dates to choose from!

Environmental science students visited with the elementary classes to talk about the importance of recycling and to invite them to join us in celebrating America Recycles Day. All elementary students received a plastic sack. Please help us out by filling it with PLASTIC or ALUMINUM recyclables and bring it back to school on Friday, November 15th!
