Dear Parents and Students, we will be checking in student materials on Monday, June 1 and Tuesday, June 2. Please use the following schedule: using the first initial of the last name, please come at the following times: A,B 9 am, C,D 10 am, E,F 11 am, G-I noon, J-L 1 pm, M-O 2 pm and P-Z 3 pm. Elementary students will enter through the South entrance to drop off school materials and pick up their belongings. JH and HS students will enter through the South JH entrance to drop off their materials and clean out lockers, if necessary. Students should return digital devices with chargers and cases, library books, classroom books and other school issued materials. Students with combination locks should put them in their computer cases. Thank you

SEEKS FEEDBACK ON FEDERAL CARES ACT
The Nebraska Department of Education is seeking feedback to help school districts address immediate needs in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The United States Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, And Economic Security (CARES) Act, which includes one-time relief funding for local school districts, intended to address challenges of providing education during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The NDE is asking for responses through a short survey to understand local needs as well as potential investments and support. The survey is available in English and Spanish on the department’s website:

The Paxton National Honor Society inducted 8 new members this evening over Zoom. Congratulations students! We are so proud of you!
We are having a blood drive April 24th at the Community Center from 9:30 to 3:30! There is a huge blood shortage due to blood drives being canceled. They are asking that you bring a mask to wear while you are there. Only two people will be donating at a time. The Paxton School Board set the last day of school as May 14th. We will continue with remote learning through this date and then communicate with you our plans for checking in computers and picking up your things left here at school.
