Day 1 of the State Track Meet kicks off this morning with Audrey and Jacelyn throwing the discus at 8 AM, Easton in the shot put at 10:30 AM, then the Girls 4x800m Relay at 12:30 followed by the Boys 4x800m Relay at approx. 12:50. Live results can be found at

Congratulations to these students!! They each found a "Golden Ticket" tucked inside a library book that they had checked out during National Library week. Mrs. Storer hid 11 golden tickets and 5 were found and turned in for a special prize.
Thank you school board member, Michael Holzfaster, and his son, graduating, senior Jacob for cooking burgers for us today for the end of the year cookout. Go Tigers!!
A BIG Thank You to everyone who supported our school book fair!!! We sold about 362 books to kids, and created approximately 65,130 reading minutes!! That's fantastic!!!
High School Science Update: Physical Science students are looking for evidence of chemical reactions, Physics students practice torque calculations with a balancing challenge, and A&P students reviewed human anatomy through sheep brain and pig dissections
Paxton’s Student Council hosts their Jump Rope for Heart event. The kids learned lots of new individual and parter jump rope tricks while keeping our heart healthy❤️
Throughout the spring semester, high school students were given the opportunity to participate in a Connect Four tournament during lunch time. Congratulations to Noah Connick who won the tournament and received a gift certificate to the Pit Stop!

Dear Parents, We have been fielding a few calls about the dismissal time on Thursday. After careful consideration we have decided to dismiss students at 12:00 pm mt. this Thursday. Congratulations to Jacob Holzfaster and Ethan Hardin on qualifying for the State Golf meet next week in North Platte. Jacob finished in 7th place and Ethan finished in 10th place at the District golf meet in Bridgeport today. Go Tigers!

The elementary track and field day will begin at 1:00 PM tomorrow and will be running events only due to the wet conditions of the infield.
