Congratulations Graduates! WE ARE PROUD OF YOU!!
Please help us celebrate with the graduates at todays Graduation ceremony scheduled for 3:00 pm mt. Go Tigers!!!

The FACS class conquered their basket challenges with amazing creativity, cooperation, and enthusiasm. Teams of four received a box with various food items and had 35 minutes to prepare a luncheon for four. Group of Ella, Eva, Angeline, and Marlee made their own sweetened cool whip to put on their waffles with a side of fresh fruit, bacon, ham and a cucumber water. Tristan, Kenyon, Fernando, and Preston put together a veggie dip, mini pizzas and a fruit smoothie. Leah, Ruby, Elijah, and Kepler made omelets, with a side of pudding and fruit, and wrapped little sausages. This class of students has been amazing and has been so willing to work with each and share ideas.

Thank you to the 3rd grade class for being a wonderful audience as the 2nd graders gave their final presentations about their pollinators.

The FACS class assembled 30 freezer meals for teachers for teacher appreciation week. It was a lot of organized chaos but the students did amazing with measuring and combining all the ingredients for this task. They spent one day chopping and measuring onions, peppers, and broccoli, washing foil pans, and making labels. They spent the following two days at the stovetop, browning meat, cooking pasta, and mixing ingredients using 9 different chicken and ground beef freezer meal recipes. Special thanks to Hehnkes grocery store for packaging up all the meat and having it ready for us Monday.

Congratulations to these tigers who had perfect attendance during the month of April!

Despite Mother Nature shortening todays Sutherland Golf Invite to a 9 hole tournament, the Tigers still had a great showing!

Due to forecasted weather conditions, Track and Field Day for students in grades preschool thru 6th Grade has been rescheduled to Monday, May 15 from 9:30-2:00.

Preschool students listened to a story in library class about "Clifford the Big Red Dog" and then they made a Clifford dog and "walked" him back to their classroom!

The second graders discovered that building 3-dimensional shapes during math can be sticky business.

Parents don't forget this we have our presentation from Dr. McConnell, the psychologist for the school, here on Thursday to share about the impact he has seen technology/phones/social media on our children's mental health. This begins at 6 pm on May 11, in the music room.

Good luck to the Tiger golf team today as they wrap up their regular season at the Sutherland Invite.

Open Mic Night is Tuesday, May 9th!
This casual event will feature students from grades 4-12 as they perform their favorite songs for their friends and family in the commons area. The first song starts at 5:30pm, and we will continue until around 7:15
