English II Tribute Training Challenge Today, our English II students brought The Hunger Games to life as they wrapped up Part I of the novel with a Tribute Training Challenge! Students competed in physical, mental, and skill-based challenges -- just like the tributes in the book. Survival Relay – Teams raced against the clock to build a shelter while scavenging for crucial survival items. Trivia Trial – Tributes had to rely on their teammates' skills to earn the chance to answer Hunger Games trivia questions. Skills Showcase – Competitors tested their accuracy in target practice, proving their ability to survive in the arena. Survival Scenarios – Teams faced high-stakes survival situations and had to think fast to make the right call. From teamwork to strategy, today’s challenge tested more than just survival skills; it deepened students’ understanding of the novel’s themes of resilience and resourcefulness.
