Our high school journalism students wrapped up an engaging Tornado Project Unit in honor of Severe Weather Awareness Week (April 13–17, 2026)! 🌪️ Students wrote editorials exploring the science of tornadoes, safety preparedness, and the impact of historical storms. They also brought their learning to life by creating mock weather reports - and their creativity did not disappoint! From “wrangling the storm” to full-on anchorman mode (mustaches included), students kept us both informed and entertained! #paxtontigers

DID YOU KNOW Paxton has TWO esports teams that brought home state hardware?! 🎮🐯 The Valorant team recently placed 3rd at the state competition hosted at Doane University. Pictured here, you can see peers cheering them on as they watched the live stream of the competition - true Tiger support in action! Additionally, the Fortnite team earned an impressive 4th place finish! Great job, Tigers! #paxtontigers

Due to forecasted weather, the Perkins Co. JV Golf Invite has been rescheduled to Wednesday, April 29th.

Great outing today by the Paxton golf team we ended up shooting our best team score of the year with a 379. Tristen tied for 10th place with an 81! Almost all of the boys got new season lows! We will be back in action Thursday at Perkins again for the JV meet. #PaxtonTigers

Second and third graders had a great time on their field trip today! They created an original painting at the Prairie Arts Center and enjoyed the afternoon at Cody Park.

The kindergarten class has been participating in an ABC Countdown to add some extra fun to the end of the year! Today was F for Fort Day! I'd say it was a hit! #paxtontigers

Senior parents please help me remind your seniors that they need to complete the FAFSA or the Opt out form in order to graduate. The FAFSA is going through a big update at the end of April and will cause a delay in receiving reports at well as college receiving information. Paxton competed in the Medicine Valley meet we shot a 427 as a team. Parker Riesberg won JV and Tristen Placed 15th with a 95. Paxton will be in action next Tuesday in Grant at the Perkins Counth invite.
