High School Journalism students put their investigative skills and speed-interviewing to the test with a high-energy Staff Scavenger Hunt today. Students raced through the halls to track down key facts and uncover a few surprising talents among our staff.
Some Key Discoveries:
- The Veteran: Mrs. Jay holds the crown for longest-tenured staff member with an incredible 37 years!
- The Polyglots: Shoutout to Mrs. Rudolph, Mrs. Thomas, and Ms. Vasquez for speaking multiple languages!
- The Creatives: Uncovered some serious musical talent in Mrs. McAbee, Mrs. Peters, and Mrs. Essink. 🎶
- The Big Families: Found Mrs. Storer and Mrs. Price leading the pack - does anyone here have more than 4 children!?
- The Out-of-State Scholar: Mr. Turner earned his degree outside of Nebraska! 🎓
- The Bookworms: Mrs. Storer and Mrs. Seifer both smashed their reading goals with 20+ books read this past year! 📚
We discovered way more, but what a great day of friendly competition, fast-paced reporting, and great practice for our future journalists. Huge thank you to all the staff members who played along and let us put them in the hot seat!
