Notice is hereby given that a meeting of Paxton Consolidated School Board of Education,, School District #6 will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 6:00pm MT at Paxton Consolidated School, 308 N Elm St, Paxton, Nebraska. An agenda of such meetings, continuously current, is available for public inspection at the office of the Superintendent‘s Office, 308 N Elm St, Paxton, Nebraska during normal business hours. On February 6 Paxton Ag Education students got the opportunity to take a tour of the new state of the art "Sustainable Beef" beef packing facility in North Platte. Students learned about the process and the equipment used in processing a beef animal, along with the challenges of constructing a facility of this size.

12 students made an early trip to McCook Community College this morning, to compete in InterHigh Day. Miah Fox received 1st place in English Literature, Marlee Gleason received 1st place in Sociology, Sarah Brott received 2nd place in Health Occupations, and Hadleigh Kramer and Reece Glinn received 3rd place as a team in Early Childhood Education. These students received a scholarship for a summer class. Overall Paxton students brought home 2nd place in Division II. Congratulations Tigers!!
Keith County Area Development (KCAD) has a summer internship available over the summer. Check it out! Must be a graduate from Keith County of 2024 or earlier.

The 8th graders are doing a great job at working towards reading a million words this year and passing their AR tests over the books they've read. Some have hit some big word count milestones, and a couple have already read one million. Great job, Tigers! 🐯
